The Oleander hawk-moth is large with a wingspan of 9-13cm. its a member of the hawk-moth family ( Sphingidae ). they are most active at twilight, hovering over flowers after sunset.
Feeding Habits : Adult feeds on nectar from variety of flowers, especially fragrant ones like Jasmine, Honeysuckle and Petunia.
The caterpillars feed on Oleander leaver, which are highly toxic to humans. they also feed on other plants such as Adenium obesum, Tabernaemontana divaricata and Alstonia scholaris. Read here
